Hamilton police are investigating two separate bear-spray incidents at Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School, according to an October 23 CHCH report.

The report says officers attended the Upper Sherman Avenue school on Monday, October 19. Police described the incidents as unrelated and said a male student and a female student suffered minor injuries.

In the first case, police say an 18-year-old was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and administering a noxious thing with intent. Those allegations have not been proven in court.

No arrest had been announced in the second case in the published report. The investigations remain ongoing. TNC has not independently obtained the underlying police case files.
