Burlington residents planning to vote online in the municipal election have until 8 p.m. Sunday, October 25, to submit their ballot. Registration for online voting ends half an hour earlier, at 7:30 p.m., according to the city’s current election instructions.
The city says online voters need their Voter Information Letter, which includes a registration number and directions. The process also uses an email address or mobile number to deliver a voting PIN.
Anyone planning to vote online who has not received that letter should contact 905-335-7777, extension VOTE, before 7 p.m. Sunday. The city lists election support hours of 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekends, during the online-voting period.
In-person voting remains available Monday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eligible voters can use any voting location in their own ward that day. A missing letter does not prevent in-person voting; bring valid identification showing your name and address.
