A tanker carrying 40,000 metric tonnes of Russian diesel is bound for New York, Reuters reported October 23, citing LSEG shipping data.

The Malta-flagged Agioi Fanendes loaded in Primorsk on October 22. Its expected U.S. arrival is November 7; that remains a forecast.

The shipment follows this month’s U.S.–Russia fuel agreement. Reuters said the buyer and seller were not known. The cargo’s departure does not establish that future promised volumes have shipped.
