Hamilton will have three players on Canada’s team at next month’s IIHF Women’s World Championship: forward Emily Clark, defender Nicole Gosling and goaltender Kayle Osborne.

All three are listed with Hamilton’s PWHL club on Hockey Canada’s tournament roster. The selection is a separate development from the expansion team’s earlier training-camp and jersey announcements.

Denmark tournament begins November 6

Hockey Canada’s October 19 announcement names 25 players for the November 6–16 competition in Herning and Esbjerg, Denmark. General manager Danièle Sauvageau and head coach Kori Cheverie selected three goaltenders, eight defenders and 14 forwards.

Canada’s Group B opponents are Denmark, Finland, Japan and Sweden. Before the championship, Canada is scheduled to face the United States in Windsor on October 28 and Plymouth, Michigan, on October 30.
