A person was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life-threatening after a shooting near Second Line at Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

CHCH reports that OPP responded around 7 p.m. Thursday, October 22. Police said the person sustained one gunshot wound.

Investigators considered the incident isolated and reported no current public-safety threat. Residents could see more officers as the investigation continued, police said.
