Toronto scored four times in the third period to beat Edmonton 7–2 at Rogers Place on Saturday, October 24, extending its winning streak to four games.

William Nylander scored twice and Anthony Stolarz stopped 30 shots. Leon Draisaitl supplied both Oilers goals, while Tristan Jarry made 25 saves.

The Leafs led 3–1 after two periods. Nylander scored on the power play, Zack MacEwen added another and, after Draisaitl’s second, Toronto finished with an empty-net goal and Vinni Lettieri’s late strike.

Toronto improved to 7–4–2; Edmonton fell to 8–2–1. The Leafs’ official game notes confirm Nylander’s empty-netter was his 300th NHL goal.
