(London, Canada) – Police have charged a London man in connection with three alleged sexual assaults downtown and released photographs while seeking additional victims.

The October 30 release names Matthew David Coveney, 49. He faces two counts of sexual assault, one of sexual assault with a weapon and one of obtaining sexual services for consideration.

Police say one woman was assaulted in a Dundas Street alley on August 17 and again on Richmond Street in early October.

In the third reported incident, another woman met a man near a Dundas Street business on October 17. Police allege he produced a weapon and assaulted her after they walked toward Queens Avenue.

Investigators say business surveillance helped identify the accused. The charges have not been proven in court.
