Jannik Sinner will play no further tournaments this year while receiving treatment for his knee, Reuters reported Tuesday.

The Italian world No. 1 has been absent since his Wimbledon victory in July. He will also miss the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin.

Sinner said the decision was made with his doctors and reflected concern for his long-term career. His team said treatment for knee inflammation would allow recovery time before preparations for 2027.
