(Ottawa, Canada) - Health Canada has published a recall notice covering all lots of the Instant Aid Pregnancy Test and Instant Aid Ovulation Tester because they were sold in Canada without the required medical-device licence authorization.
The official record was first published October 27, 2026, but lists June 27, 2025 as the recall date. Those dates describe different steps; the notice does not announce a newly discovered test failure.
The manufacturer, Tj Trading Co. Inc., operating as Three Star Industries, reported no associated incidents, consumer performance complaints or adverse events, according to the notice.
Health Canada lists the action as a Type II health-product recall for the general public and directs people seeking further information to contact the manufacturer.
