CANADA — Bell Media says Canadians can watch selected CTV and CP24 election-night specials on Crave with a free Bell Media account, beginning with B.C. municipal coverage on Saturday, October 17.

The broadcaster's October 16 announcement lists five specials. For Ontario viewers, these are their start times in Eastern time:

  • B.C. municipal elections: October 17 at 11 p.m. (8 p.m. Pacific).
  • Alberta referendum: midnight at the start of October 20 (10 p.m. Mountain on October 19).
  • B.C. provincial election: October 24 at 9 p.m. (6 p.m. Pacific).
  • Toronto Decides: October 26 at 7 p.m.
  • Manitoba municipal elections: October 28 at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Central).

The Toronto program covers the city and surrounding region; the announcement does not promise a dedicated Hamilton results stream. TNC has not independently tested playback of these upcoming broadcasts.

What the free access covers

Crave's free-content guidance distinguishes selected programming from a paid subscription. A free Bell Media account is required, and material without a cart icon is identified as free. The election announcement does not make the entire Crave catalogue free.

B.C.'s two votes are separate: Elections BC identifies October 17 for general local elections and October 24 for the provincial election. The broadcast schedule above is not a list of polling hours.
