OPP have charged a 44-year-old Cayuga man following a fatal single-vehicle crash near Selkirk, according to CHCH’s October 23 report.

Police said the vehicle left Haldimand Road 53, entered a ditch and rolled over around 7 p.m. July 23. One occupant died at the scene. Another was seriously injured and transferred to a Hamilton hospital.

CHCH reports that officers arrested the man October 13 and laid a charge described as “operation causing death,” alongside plate, permit and insurance charges. Charges are allegations, not convictions.
