TAMPA — Vancouver let a two-goal advantage slip away Saturday, falling 4–2 to the Lightning and extending its winless run to seven games.

The October 17 loss followed another game in which the Canucks could not protect a 2–0 lead. Tampa Bay answered with four consecutive goals, leaving Vancouver without a win since the early part of the season.

Kucherov brings Tampa Bay level

Linus Karlsson scored at 15:32 of the first period. Elias Pettersson added a power-play goal 4:35 into the second, but Vancouver's cushion lasted less than two minutes.

Nikita Kucherov replied on the power play at 6:30, then scored again at 11:23. The teams entered the final period tied.

Jake Guentzel put Tampa Bay ahead at 2:04 of the third, with his shot deflecting off Liam Ohgren's stick. Pontus Holmberg added the final goal at 15:57.

A busy afternoon for Lankinen

Kevin Lankinen made 31 saves for Vancouver. At the other end, Dennis Hildeby stopped 12 shots as Tampa Bay maintained its perfect home record at 5–0.
