TORONTO — Calgary Wild FC defeated AFC Toronto 1–0 at BMO Field on Sunday, October 18, with Jorian Baucom scoring the only goal in the fifth minute, according to the Northern Super League’s official match summary.
The league’s completed match record and its schedule both list the result as final.
Toronto’s unbeaten season series ends
AFC Toronto had entered the match with three wins and a draw against Calgary this season, keeping a clean sheet in each of those four meetings, according to the club’s October 17 preview. Sunday’s defeat ended that unbeaten head-to-head run.
That preview described a Toronto side pursuing the Supporters’ Shield with two regular-season games remaining. Its standings figures were published before Sunday’s match and should not be mistaken for an updated league table.
Another BMO Field date ahead
Toronto’s club notice lists its next home match against Halifax Tides FC on Monday, October 26, at 7 p.m. Eastern, its final home fixture of the regular season.
