(Cambridge, ON) - With Halloween approaching, Treat Accessibly is asking neighbours to move their treats to an accessible spot so children who cannot reach a front door can still take part.

CHCH highlighted the program on October 25, ahead of Halloween on Saturday, October 31. The organizer offers resources for households and streets wanting to participate.

Cambridge’s October 22 announcement recommends handing out treats away from stairs and obstacles, keeping the route well lit, offering non-food options and avoiding strobe lights and loud noises.

The city says a limited supply of free lawn signs is available October 22–31 at designated municipal facilities and library branches. Its announcement lists pickup locations; it does not establish current stock at each site.

Residents elsewhere can consult the organizer’s resources and their own municipality’s sign rules. This report does not confirm a participating-street list for Hamilton, Halton or Niagara.
