The Telling Tales Festival continues Sunday, October 4, at the Royal Botanical Gardens, bringing children’s authors, illustrators and performers together for a weekend of literary activities.
Families should check their registration before travelling. CHCH reported that the free event’s registered places are sold out, with very limited standby admission depending on no-shows and park capacity.
Stories beyond the page
The festival’s official programme includes author signings, book swaps, live performance and interactive walks. Organizers describe more than 70 presentations across five tents, combining children’s literature with music, dance and other storytelling.
The event’s free admission does not mean unrestricted walk-in access. People without confirmed places should consult the organizer’s latest information and be prepared for standby entry to be unavailable.
Programme and map information is available through the official Telling Tales festival page.
