(Seoul, South Korea) - SK hynix reported quarterly revenue above 100 trillion won for the first time on October 28, as demand for memory used in artificial-intelligence infrastructure lifted sales.

The chipmaker’s preliminary third-quarter figures show revenue of 104.6 trillion won, operating profit of 83.3 trillion won and net income of 39.8 trillion won. Revenue rose 32 per cent from the preceding quarter; operating profit increased 38 per cent.

The company plans roughly 100 trillion won in shareholder returns for 2026. That total includes a previously announced 40-trillion-won share repurchase, rather than representing an entirely new payout.

SK hynix says long-term customer agreements cover more than half its production capacity for 2027 and 2028. It expects demand to exceed memory supply through 2030; that is a company forecast.

The consolidated results remain subject to review and possible revision.
