Hamilton’s scheduled weekend closure of the Red Hill Valley Parkway is due to end at 5 a.m. Monday, September 28. The city lists both directions between Mud Street and Barton Street as closed for road work.
Drivers heading out before the scheduled reopening should continue to use the posted detours. The 5 a.m. time is the city’s planned end to the closure, not an independently confirmed report that every ramp has reopened. Road conditions can change if work runs late or another incident occurs.
The city’s road-closure list also shows other work beginning Monday, including an Eastgate Court closure from Centennial Parkway to Fairington Crescent and daytime lane occupancy on New Mountain Road. Those are separate projects with their own timelines.
