NIAGARA FALLS — A five-minute fireworks display in Buffalo Bills colours is planned over Niagara Falls on Saturday, October 3, as Niagara Falls Tourism invites its American neighbours to the Canadian side.

The tourism organization says the red, white and blue display follows Buffalo fans’ rendition of O Canada at a Bills game and a Visit Buffalo billboard campaign welcoming Canadians.

A welcome across the river

Niagara Falls Tourism also published a thank-you letter in The Buffalo News. Its invitation encourages visitors to gather along the river and spend the evening in Niagara Falls.

The announcement is a tourism gesture built around a shared sports connection. It is not a change to border-entry requirements or government trade policy.

The organization’s event page confirms the October 3 date and five-minute duration. Visitors should consult its current fireworks information before travelling for timing and any operational changes.
