MISSISSAUGA — Peel police announced Thursday that Hamilton resident Aubrey Lawrence, 69, was arrested September 30 and charged with failing to remain at an accident resulting in death.

A pedestrian in his 60s died after being struck near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street on September 29.

Police seek a motorist believed to have interacted with the accused in a nearby Home Depot parking lot. Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage can call 905-453-2121, extension 3710.

The charge has not been proven in court.
