Forge FC twice took the lead but left Ottawa with a 2–2 draw Sunday, keeping its Canadian Premier League semifinal level before the return match in Hamilton.

Anthony Aromatario put Forge ahead in the 15th minute at TD Place. Diego Gutiérrez equalized eight minutes later, before Marko Jevremović restored the visitors’ advantage in the 35th minute. Ballou Tabla made it 2–2 in the 43rd.

Neither side scored after the break, according to the league’s official match report. That leaves the aggregate score tied heading into the second leg.

Forge hosts Atlético Ottawa at Hamilton Stadium on Saturday, November 7, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern. The semifinal winner advances to the CPL Final; Sunday’s result did not settle the tie.
