Voters in six federal ridings will elect new members of Parliament on December 7, 2026, the Prime Minister’s Office announced Sunday.

The Ontario contests will be held in Brantford—Brant South and Scarborough North. The other four are Laurier—Sainte-Marie, Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie and Saint-Hyacinthe—Bagot—Acton in Quebec, and Yorkton—Melville in Saskatchewan.

The November 1 announcement from Prime Minister Mark Carney establishes the same voting date for all six constituencies. The contests are federal byelections, rather than a nationwide general election.
